A short 15-20 minute drive from Park City, this river has provided many anglers with their first Utah trout brought to hand. The Provo has also tested many seasoned anglers with it’s picky fish and technical bug life. It’s beautiful views, cold water, and ABUNDANT bug life make for big strong fish that will put a bend in to any angler’s fly rod. While well known for it’s Summer “float tube hatch”, the river also boasts year round insect hatches that our guides are veterans at imitating. While there are fewer trout per mile in this river, every trout you hook has the possibility of being a memorable one. There is also a healthy population of Rocky Mountain Whitefish that love taking a well presented fly.
